The  Journal of Scientific and Technological Research (JSTR), published biannually (January and July), is a peer-reviewed open-access journal of the School of Science and Technology, Bangladesh Open University. This journal is published by the School of Science and Technology, BOU, under print ISSN 2309-7167 and online ISSN 2959-7943, with DOI: 10.59738/jstr.

JSTR publishes original research findings as regular papers, review papers (by invitation). The journal provides a platform for engineers, researchers, academicians, and practitioners who are highly motivated to contribute to the engineering, health science and technology, food and nutrition, e-learning, and applied sciences disciplines. JSTR welcomes contributions that address solutions to the specific challenges of the developing world.
